Shops at Talisman Shopping Centre are ready to welcome back customers next week.

After months of uncertainty for non-essential retail in Kenilworth the Government has confirmed shops will be able to reopen from Monday, April 12.

Visitors to the shopping centre in the heart of the town are being asked to follow social distancing advice and guidelines – with signage installed around the area to provide clear information and guidance.

Hand sanitiser facilities are available at the Talisman House and Sexton House entrances to the square.

Talisman Shopping Centre management have carried out full risk assessments to ensure safe social distancing is possible.

Individual shops and tenants have been issued with updated guidance and will all be taking steps to ensure customers are as safe and protected as possible.

Staff and visitors are advised and encouraged to keep a two metres distance from others where possible.

Hugo Hawkings, chief executive of Discovery Properties – the developers of Talisman Shopping Centre – said: “We are delighted that many of the businesses at Talisman Shopping Centre will be open their doors for the first time in four months from next week.

“Visitors to the shopping centre are asked to observe the signs detailing social distancing advice, which has now become second nature to us all, and to follow our guidance to make it safe for fellow shoppers.

“All tenants  are aware of protocols and guidelines over social distancing and are operating in a Covid-19 safe environment.

“While some of our shops have been able to operate delivery and digital service, for many this will be the first time they have been able to do business for many months.

“Businesses at Talisman Shopping Centre are part of the fabric of the community and provide important services to Kenilworth, and it will be fantastic to see them back trading in April.”
