Talisman Shopping Centre has been getting a makeover in recent weeks with new art and greenery popping up around the square.
Kenilworth Books and The Orangery, both based at Talisman, have teamed up on the project to introduce planters around the perimeter of the square.
A group of 20 volunteers have been involved so far in tending to the planters in a bid to make the area greener and more welcoming.
It is a collaboration between businesses and Kenilworth Arts Festival, and is being supported by the Kenilworth Town Council Improvement Group.
Kenilworth Arts Festival has also been working with local students from Kenilworth School Sixth Form to create a colourful mural at Talisman.
Artists from the Kenilworth Artists Association will also be creating a display of their work and are hoping to put on an art exhibition and sale in Talisman during September.
Work is also underway on a green wall at Talisman.
Organisers are calling out for more volunteer gardeners to support the planters project and to get involved by contacting Judy Brook at Kenilworth Books on 01926 855784.
Hugo Hawkings, chief executive of Discovery Properties – the developers of Talisman Shopping Centre – said: “Talisman Shopping Centre is looking brighter and greener by the day thanks to our businesses and the team at Kenilworth Arts Festival.
“Every time you visit you are likely to have something new to look at now, be that one of the new planters or a freshly added piece of art to the wall.
“We’d encourage people from around the town to get involved and help out where they can – be that with the art or as a volunteer gardener.”
