Talisman Shopping Centre will welcome 4th Kenilworth Scout Group as part of its annual Christmas card delivery service, helping local people send festive greetings across the town and surrounding villages.
The popular Scout Post is returning once again this year, with Scouts, Cubs and Beavers delivering Christmas cards across Kenilworth, Leek Wootton, Hill Wootton, Stoneleigh and Ashow.
As part of the service, the group will host collection stalls in Talisman on Saturdays in December, giving shoppers a convenient town centre location to drop off their cards while visiting the centre.
Kenilworth Books, based at Talisman Shopping Centre, is also supporting the service by acting as one of the town’s card drop-off points, alongside other local businesses and community venues.
The service costs 40p per card, with donations also welcomed. The final collection takes place at Talisman Square on Saturday, December 20, before deliveries are made by the Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and their families from Sunday, December 21.
The long-running initiative is an important fundraiser for 4th Kenilworth Scout Group, while also providing a valued community service during the festive season.
Talisman Shopping Centre is pleased to support the Scouts by providing a central and accessible location for collections, helping residents combine their Christmas shopping with supporting a local group.
