A local health club is excited to resume group exercise classes and provide social boost to the local community.
With the Government roadmap continuing to progress as planned, Anytime Fitness Kenilworth at Talisman Shopping Centre is preparing to safely resume its group exercise timetable next week from Monday, May 17.
The independently owned health club will resume classes throughout the week, with a wide-range of options including HIIT, Yoga, Spin and much more Classes will need to be pre-booked with a limited number of places available to continue the club’s focus on safety.
In line with Government guidelines, capacity of group exercise classes will be capped to ensure that social distancing measures can be adhered to.
Anytime Fitness Kenilworth is also ensuring there are no back-to-back classes in its schedule, so a deep cleaning of all equipment can take place between classes.
The health club has been open since April 12 and has already seen members in the local community register thousands of workouts as they return to the club in their droves.
“It’s another really positive step to be able to resume our group exercise timetable,” said Paul Blackwell of Anytime Fitness Kenilworth.
“Classes are an important part of many of our members’ routines both for the physical health benefits as well as the social element too, which is more important than ever given the past year. Our classes are like small families and communities in themselves, and our team can’t wait to get back to instructing again.
“The most important thing is to be able to keep everyone safe as we resume our classes. So, for the time being, we will have a limit on capacity to ensure social distancing and also ensure all mats and equipment are deep cleaned between classes.”
Throughout Anytime Fitness Kenilworth, members will find spaced equipment to ensure social distancing, significantly upweighted internal cleaning regimes and self-serve cleaning stations, capacity management and increased ventilation.
